A powerflush is a deep clean for your central heating system. It uses a specialist pump and cleaning solution to remove sludge, rust and debris from radiators, pipes and the boiler — helping heat flow freely again.

Typical signs include cold spots on radiators, noisy pipes, a boiler that keeps cutting out, or heating that takes ages to warm up. If you notice any of these, it’s worth getting your system checked.

Most powerflushes take around half a day for an average-sized home. Larger systems may take a little longer, but we’ll always let you know before we start.

We handle everything — from setup to cleanup. After the flush, we add corrosion inhibitor to protect your system and keep it running smoothly.

Usually every 5–7 years, or whenever you replace your boiler. Regular maintenance keeps your system efficient and extends its lifespan.

A chemical clean is milder and good for maintenance, but a powerflush uses stronger flow and magnets to remove stubborn sludge that chemicals alone can’t shift.
